The small print

  • Barts cannot be converted into, or converted from, any other currency, such as Euros, Pounds Sterling, or Dollars. Barts cannot brought into the system, nor can they withdrawn from the system. If you decide that you want to leave the system, you can donate your Barts to someone else - or perhaps to a Charity.
  • Bart overdrafts are normally available to allow you to get started, or to make a Barter that you cannot cover from your Bart Account
  • No interest is payable on Bart accounts, nor is interest charged on Bart overdrafts
  • Monies deposited into your Europot are non-returnable.
  • Barts are not a method of tax avoidance. Bartering may be covered by your local taxation regulations. If in doubt, ask your financial advisor.
  • BarterwithBart accepts no responsibility for the quality of goods or services supplied by Members. You may be able to check for comments from other Members about the person you are about to agree a transaction with. In all cases, you are expected to perform due diligence.
